Luxon and Bishop appear together in Lower Hutt as leadership questions go unanswered

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and his senior minister Chris Bishop spoke together at a Lower Hutt public meeting on Tuesday night, with about 250 people attending. Bishop called Luxon "the man in charge" doing "an outstanding job." Luxon said Bishop cares deeply about the Hutt area. Reported tensions over who should lead the National Party were not discussed.
