ABC Sues FCC, Saying It Was Punished for Skipping Trump's Speech

ABC sued the FCC on August 18, 2026, to stop an early review of eight station licenses. ABC says the review is payback because it did not air Trump's July 16 speech. FCC Chairman Carr said the agency would consider that decision in its review.
