Tupac Murder Trial Begins in Las Vegas
A Las Vegas jury heard opening statements in the murder trial of Duane Davis, accused of planning Tupac Shakur's 1996 killing as revenge for a fight involving his nephew. The judge allowed Davis's own 2019 memoir — where he says he was in the car and gave the gun to his nephew — to be used as evidence. Davis faces life in prison with no chance of release.
