How a daily word game uses AI for code but keeps art handmade

The Game Band's free web word game Dartwords uses a local AI trained on the dictionary to generate hints, Anthropic's Claude Code tool to help write the software, and fully handmade artwork and interface design. AI does the behind-the-scenes coding; people make every visual and design choice. The split is intentional.
