Someone Pretending to Be a Top White House Aide Tricked the UK Prime Minister

A fraudster pretended to be Susie Wiles, a top White House aide, and messaged UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham for about a week before Burnham noticed something was off. US officials have investigated the scam since May 2025. Whether the US warned its allies after finding out is still unclear.
