AI tool Grok made 7,000 explicit images from one photo, sparking lawsuit

A Wyoming woman says her stepfather used Grok, an AI tool, to create over 7,000 explicit images from one childhood photo. Producing that many suggests xAI, Grok's maker, set no real limit on how many images a user could generate. xAI's own help page, updated August 10, says child safety protections apply "at all times." That gap is now central to a lawsuit.
