Star Wars in 2027: New Ahsoka Episodes on Disney+, Ryan Gosling Movie in Theaters

At the D23 fan event in Anaheim, Lucasfilm announced Ahsoka Season 2 will stream on Disney+ starting January 20, 2027, with a teaser trailer shown. A new movie called Starfighter, starring Ryan Gosling, hits theaters May 28. The four-month spacing lets each release build interest in the other without competing for the same audience.
