Police Camera Company Flock Safety Will Require an Abuse-Monitoring Tool It Won't Explain

Flock Safety will require all police customers to turn on Audit Assistance, a tool that spots unusual searches by officers and can lock out flagged users, by end of 2026. The company says the tool does not use artificial intelligence but has not explained how it decides what counts as suspicious.
