
UK Economy Grows Fastest Among Major Nations Despite War Worries
Britain's economy grew 0.4% from April to June 2026, after 0.6% earlier in the year, keeping it ahead of the world's seven largest economies. The IMF had warned Britain would be hit hardest by the Iran war. Deutsche Bank now expects 1.1% growth for 2026, above the IMF's 0.8% prediction.
