Apple to Launch iPhone 18 Pro This Fall; Cheaper Model Delayed to Early 2027

Pegatron, a company that helps build iPhones, said Apple's higher-end iPhone 18 Pro goes on sale this fall. The standard iPhone 18 is delayed to early 2027 — the first such split since Apple started releasing two models in 2014. The cause: shortages of memory and chips. Apple is focusing on pricier models for the holidays. Apple has not confirmed this.
