Google and Samsung foldable phones now have the same screen size

Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, both unveiled August 12, 2026, share the same screen sizes for the first time: a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner screen. Both use high-quality OLED displays. The Pixel uses Google's Tensor G6 chip; Samsung's uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Each has up to 16GB RAM and runs Android 17.
