Vietnam Stops Arguing and Starts Building in South China Sea Dispute

Vietnam has decided that lawsuits and international rulings won't stop China from claiming more territory. So since early 2024, it's doing what China did years ago: building islands on disputed reefs and fortifying them. Hanoi believes controlling the land itself matters more than winning arguments in court.
