Taylor Fresh Foods recalled jalapeño dips, salsa, and guacamole sold at Target, Walmart, Kroger, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods across 26 states after possible Salmonella — a bacteria that causes food poisoning — contamination, per an August 10, 2026 company release. It follows a jalapeño recall by Coast Citrus Distributors. The CDC reports 345 illnesses across 27 states.
