Paseo Lets Developers Run Multiple AI Coding Assistants Locally, Sidestepping Cloud Platforms

Paseo, released June 2, is an open-source orchestration layer that routes coding tasks to Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, and other agents—all running in parallel on a developer's own infrastructure. The self-hosted daemon manages model execution while keeping code local. Users can compare outputs across different AI models on identical tasks or delegate specialized work to agents with varying strengths, reducing dependence on any single cloud vendor.
