Signal Foundation has integrated the Sparse Post Quantum Ratchet (SPQR) into its messaging protocol, hardening defenses against potential quantum computing attacks on current encryption. The enhancement strengthens the Signal Protocol, which already protects billions of messages across multiple platforms daily.
