Microsoft Brings Cross-Tab AI Reasoning to Edge Browser

Microsoft launched Copilot Mode in Edge on July 28, 2025, enabling AI to process information across multiple open tabs simultaneously. Users can organize research into topic-based queries and compare results spanning multiple pages without manual switching. The Windows and Mac-exclusive feature is available free for a limited time and marks the first mainstream browser integration of cross-tab AI reasoning.
