Every Time I Die guitarist and AEW wrestler Andy Williams dies at 48

Andy Williams, founding guitarist of metalcore band Every Time I Die and AEW wrestler known as "The Butcher," died aged 48 on 5 September 2026. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed his death. Williams collapsed after a tag team match at an Enjoy Wrestling event at Mr. Smalls Theater in Millvale, Pennsylvania; on-site doctors administered CPR. No cause of death was immediately known. Williams played on all nine Every Time I Die studio albums and spent seven years with AEW and Ring of Honor. Hours before his death, he posted that his band Atomic Rule was working on new music.
