AMD Lands All Three Top AI Labs as Instinct GPU Customers in Under a Year

AMD's October 2025 OpenAI deal, February 2026 Meta agreement (up to $60 billion over five years), and July 2026 Anthropic partnership (up to $5 billion equity, 2 GW of MI450 GPUs) put every major AI lab on its Instinct roadmap. The first gigawatt of Anthropic capacity is planned for H1 2027, leaving AMD roughly a year to deliver rack-scale infrastructure at unprecedented volume.
