Burnham team members signed up to No 10 North as colleagues found out on TV

At least three senior figures from Andy Burnham's former mayoral team at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority have agreed to work at No 10 North, the BBC reported. Some GMCA staff discovered colleagues' involvement only after seeing them on television greeting the prime minister in Downing Street, suggesting the transition was not uniformly communicated internally.
