Explosion Outside FBI Building in Lower Manhattan Injures Three; Suspect in Custody

A makeshift incendiary device exploded outside the FBI building at 26 Federal Plaza in lower Manhattan on July 20, 2026, injuring three people, two of whom required hospital treatment. A suspect who allegedly deployed the device was taken into custody. The FBI's joint terrorism taskforce is leading the investigation.
