Sally Rooney withdraws books from UK sale over Palestine Action support

Irish novelist Sally Rooney says her publisher Faber, in full agreement with her, will no longer supply her books in the UK in any format or pass on UK royalties. Faber cites UK terrorism-financing law after Rooney pledged royalties to Palestine Action, proscribed as a terrorist organisation in July 2025. Sales continue outside the UK.
