Lincoln Memorial pool liner failed in 85 places, report finds

A 75-page 'failure analysis' — a technical review — found the blue liner, the waterproof membrane, inside the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. failed in 85 places, far more than previously reported. Atlantic Coating wrote the report detailed by The Washington Post. Damage followed a US$14 million project by two weeks, the Post reported.
