Rooney pulls UK book sales after Palestine Action funding pledge
Irish novelist Sally Rooney and publisher Faber, in full agreement, will stop supplying her books in the UK in all formats and withhold UK royalties. Faber points to UK terrorism-financing law, which bars support to banned groups, after Rooney pledged royalties to Palestine Action, listed as a terrorist organisation in July 2025. Sales continue abroad.
