Carney to set agenda for new national AI council

Prime Minister Mark Carney will help set the agenda for the National Council on Artificial Intelligence, launched Oct. 2, the Prime Minister's Office says. Carney will focus on files where departmental mandates overlap. The council will take an "all of government" approach and offer independent, practical advice on Canada's AI transformation.
