Carney to help guide new council on artificial intelligence

Prime Minister Mark Carney will help set topics for the National Council on Artificial Intelligence — systems that learn from data — launched Oct. 2, the Prime Minister's Office says. He will focus on issues shared by several departments. The council will work across government and give independent, practical advice on Canada's use of the technology.
