Peters wants conversion practices ban revisited

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters says he hopes the 2022 ban on conversion practices — efforts to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity — is revisited. Asked by Family First’s Bob McCoskrie if it should be overturned, he said: “I sure hope so”. His party would have opposed it, but he did not promise repeal, RNZ reported.
