
Lidl GB profit jumps 30% as sales top £13bn
Lidl Great Britain sales rose 10% to more than £13bn in the year ended in February, while pre-tax profit grew 30% to £245.5m from £156.8m. The discounter said it spent £315m on price cuts and promotions. Deluxe range sales rose 12%. Scale plus loyalty growth may test rivals on price and premium lines.
