Greens propose two-year job guarantee for 18 to 24-year-olds
The Green Party said co-deputy leader Mothin Ali proposed a Youth Jobs Guarantee at its Brighton conference. Under the plan, 18 to 24-year-olds would be offered private-sector posts within four months of leaving education or training, with government paying half salary. Employers would be exempt from National Insurance contributions and must provide training. No budget was published.
