U.S. customs turns back sealed N.B. liquor truck bound for Campobello Island

U.S. customs officers at St. Stephen-Calais turned back a sealed New Brunswick truck carrying liquor to Campobello Island through Maine. Officers applied Washington's import ban on Canadian alcoholic beverages, despite the in-transit seal. The 75-kilometre Maine route is the island's only road link to Canada.
