Sully Sullenberger inducted into National Aviation Hall of Fame

Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger, 75, was inducted into the US National Aviation Hall of Fame at the September 2026 ceremony in Washington, DC, joining by video. On 15 January 2009 he landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River after a bird strike disabled both engines, with all 155 aboard surviving.
