OpenAI's Astra solved Enigma message unsolved since 2005

Developer Carter Leffen tasked OpenAI's Astra with finding and decoding an unbroken Enigma message. Astra performed archival research, identified context clues, and built an Enigma simulator to recover plaintext unsolved since 2005. Retired electrical engineer Frode Weirerud validated the solution, saying Astra did in two days what takes human researchers weeks or months.
