OpenAI's Astra Cracks Enigma Message Unbroken Since 2005

Developer Carter Leffen asked OpenAI's Astra to find and decode an Enigma message unbroken since 2005. Astra searched archives, spotted context clues, and built a software replica of the wartime cipher machine to recover the original text. Retired electrical engineer Frode Weirerud confirmed the result, saying work that takes researchers weeks or months took Astra two days.
