OpenAI Exits Microsoft Exclusivity, Now Available on AWS and Google Cloud

OpenAI has terminated its five-year exclusive partnership with Microsoft, effective immediately. AWS and Google Cloud can now offer OpenAI's models directly to customers through native integrations—Bedrock and SageMaker for AWS; comparable offerings for Google Cloud. Microsoft retains "primary cloud partner" status and IP rights through 2030. The shift removes a major friction point for enterprises standardized on non-Azure infrastructure to adopt OpenAI capabilities without architectural compromise.
