High-mileage EVs fail MOTs less often than petrol cars

Analysis of 47.4 million MOT tests by New AutoMotive for the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association found high-mileage EVs fail less often than same-age petrol cars. At 90,000-120,000 miles, failure rates were 16.5% versus 22.1%. Beyond 120,000 miles, 16% versus 23.5%. Differences were small at lower mileages.
