RAF Training Jet Crashes After Takeoff in Anglesey

An RAF Hawk T2 training jet crashed and exploded at Pencarnisiog, less than two miles from RAF Valley on Anglesey, shortly after takeoff Sept. 23. Both pilots ejected by escape seats and parachuted down with injuries believed minor. The RAF confirmed it is investigating. Fire crews say the fire is under control.
