Well-used electric cars pass Britain's yearly MOT road-safety check more often than same-age petrol cars, a review of 47.4 million tests by New AutoMotive for the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association found. From 90,000 to 120,000 miles, 16.5% failed compared with 22.1% for petrol; past 120,000 miles, 16% versus 23.5%. At lower miles, the gap was tiny.
