Family AI assistant Ollie clears SOC 2 audit, bets privacy over ad-funded rivals

San Diego-based Ollie, a family AI assistant that operates inside iMessage, has achieved SOC 2 compliance — an independent audit of customer data controls. The company, which raised a $7.5 million seed round led by Khosla Ventures and AI House, charges a subscription rather than monetizing user data. CEO Bill Lennon says Ollie does not share data or use it for AI training.
