Greece Signs $3.5 Billion Air Defence Deal With Israel

Greece signed a $3.5 billion agreement with Israel to procure its first integrated multi-layered air defence network, Israel's defence ministry announced on August 31, 2026. The deal combines three systems — SPYDER, BARAK MX, and David's Sling — covering short-range to ballistic missile threats. Negotiated over three years, it is among Israel's largest defence exports ever.
