Nepal Principal Evacuates 900 Students Moments Before Flood Destroys School

Rajendra Dawadi, 47, rang the bell at Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in Nepal and ordered a full evacuation as floodwaters rose rapidly. All 900 children inside escaped. The building was swept away shortly after. The floods have killed at least 469 across Nepal, with over 1,300 still missing in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.
