
Australian Boxing Great Tony Mundine Dies Aged 75
Tony Mundine, the first Australian to fight across four weight divisions and one of the country's most accomplished Indigenous boxers, has died aged 75 after a heart attack. Born in Baryulgil, NSW, he compiled 80 wins (64 by knockout) and challenged Carlos Monzon for the world middleweight title in 1974. He died in hospital surrounded by family.
