Modders Run NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on RTX 40 Series via CUDA Binary Swap

Modder Uncle Burrito and another developer got DLSS 5 Neural Rendering running on GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs, which lack the dedicated hardware NVIDIA presumably designed the feature around. One achieved it through a simple CUDA binaries swap. NVIDIA officially launched DLSS 5 in March; the feature ships this fall. Whether final code will gate it to newer silicon remains unknown.
