HHS Secretary Kennedy Claims Pennsylvania Measles Deaths May Have Been "Fabricated," Drawing Governor's Rebuke

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suggested on August 26 that two reported measles deaths in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, "may even have been altogether fabricated." Governor Josh Shapiro called the claims "inaccurate and misleading." The CDC said it is "working to determine what actually occurred." Pennsylvania has 424 confirmed measles cases; none of the sickened were fully vaccinated.
