Fake GTA 6 Demo Sites Distribute Vidar Infostealer Malware

Fraudulent sites imitating Rockstar Games branding distribute Vidar infostealer malware disguised as a GTA 6 demo download, per Engadget and Malwarebytes. Rockstar has released no demo. The "gta6_installer" file harvests passwords, session cookies, autofill data, and FTP credentials across 19 browser profiles. Session cookies can bypass 2FA, expanding the blast radius on shared machines.
