Grand Theft Auto VI Will Ship Digital-Only, No Physical Disc

Rockstar Games has confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI will not be available on a physical disc when it launches May 26, 2026. The franchise has historically sold tens of millions of physical copies across console generations. The move eliminates resale value and retail inventory for a franchise whose prior entries are among the best-selling games ever made.
