SoundCloud has launched a beta letting artists sell music directly from their profiles, taking no commission — all proceeds go to the artist. The beta is open to 200 Artist Pro creators in the US, with broader access planned for later this fall. Fans can buy files in artist-provided formats such as MP3 or WAV.
