National finance spokesperson Nicola Willis says Labour's fiscal strategy to increase spending to 33 percent of GDP would cost every New Zealander $100 more in taxes each week. Willis made the claim at the Politik election summit on 26 August, challenging Labour's Barbara Edmonds to explain the gap between Labour's spending plans and how it would pay for them.
