DHS told Nevada officials the 16,000 noncitizens it said were on the state's voter rolls was "the ceiling" and each case required manual review, NPR reported. DHS later provided 185 ID numbers it said it was confident about. Nevada asked for the matching methodology; DHS declined to share it. DHS said more than 14,000 voters still need additional review.
