
Undercover ICE Agent Spied on Nonviolent Activist Trainings, Found No Threats — DOJ Prosecutes Anyway
Internal DHS records filed in federal court reveal an undercover ICE agent infiltrated Minnesota anti-ICE activist Signal chats and trainings under the username "peanutbutterjelly." At sessions where organizers urged nonviolent observation and compliance with law enforcement, the agent's own reports found no signs of threats to public safety. The DOJ nonetheless is prosecuting 15 protesters for conspiring to impede ICE.
