Apple's M6 Moves to 2nm, Debuts on Mac Mini

Apple's M6 processor is the company's first chip built on a 2nm process, ending a run of three generations on TSMC's 3nm node. The M6 launches first on a refreshed Mac Mini, not the MacBook Pro. It packs 12 CPU cores, a dual 16-core Neural Engine, and 170GB/s unified memory bandwidth, with Apple claiming 20% more multithreaded and 30% more AI performance versus the M5.
