New UK PM Burnham to lobby Trump in New York for 300 Patriot interceptors as Ukraine runs dry

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, on his first international trip as PM, plans to visit New York next month — his first US visit in the role — to join European leaders pressing President Trump for 300 Patriot interceptors for Ukraine's winter air defence. Ukraine has exhausted its stock of the only missiles capable of shooting down Russian ballistic weapons. The Trump administration is reluctant to draw on US stockpiles.
